Came to Melbourne yesterday. A couple of days prior...
Me: I am a bit worry...
Nite: Worry bout what?
Me: What if they call me on stage? I don't know how to sing his songs...
Nite: .... you think too much.
On the day itself, we were pretty early and no one was there. For awhile we entertain some wishful thinking...
Nite: Wah.... don't tell me only 2 of us bought his ticket.
Me: Serious.....? Then maybe we can move to the front rows.
Nite: It would be awesome if he only sings to two of us.
Me: Sing? I will tell him - mai concert already, jom makan, and after that get his mobile number.
Nite: That would be even more awesome....
Yeah, we were both thinking too much. As expected the Music Hall was FULL! There was a lot of visual effects and multimedia interactions on top of his awesome musical instrument showmanship. He totally blew our minds out of our brains when he did his violin gig with Julia. We forgot to record.
He was a great performer but it wasn't his best performance. With so much talent in his lean body, I don't think he really need all those props to support his concert but I guess he needs to appeal to a younger crowd? Like I mentioned to Nite, it feels like going to one of my Super Junior concerts.
If there is one thing this talented artist can improve, is to upgrade his PR skills and learn more how to engage the crowd. On this I suggest he watched Eason Chan's concert. I am also going to be his Facebook friend and my first post on his wall will be " Why Tuesday? Do not ever have a concert on Tuesday anymore. People need to work. "
Overall I give it 8 out of 10.
